This year again, 50,000 greyhounds will be abandoned or killed in Spain

Each year in Spain, the month of February means death sentence for about 50,000 greyhounds (galgos) according to the figures of the NGOs. Galgos are killed or abandoned by their owners once the hunting season (November to January) is over, making february a tragic month for the dogs. Last sunday demonstrations have been organised in 25  spanish cities to denuounce hutting with galgos and its  consequent cruelty. (french)
